Tech Project
I chose to implement Google Classrooms into my 7th grade ELA classroom. Google Classrooms establishes a platform for my students and me to turn in, create assignments, and create quizzes. I have found that the use of Google Classrooms along with all the other Google Apps: Drive, Docs, Forms, etc. have allowed my students to work more efficiently. They are using Google Chromebooks in class to do research and explore topics on a deeper level. I hope to implement more sharing opportunities for my students soon.

ConCept Mapping
A concept map is a way to depict relationships between ideas, images, or words. Concept maps allow students to develop logical thinking and study skills by showing connections and helping them see how individual ideas form a larger whole. In my classroom, I constantly allow my students to use concepts maps when taking notes on new material, and to differentiate the the details of different characters of a literary text. I would like to continue the use of concepts maps when my students are transferring ideas in collaborative groups.
Concept Mapping Tools
MindGenius
Students can use MindGenius for taking notes in meetings and seminars, creating quick to do lists, and anywhere else you require a fast, intuitive method to collect ideas and information and think things through. MindGenius for iPad can help you improve your personal productivity and can be used in conjunction with MindGenius for PC. Open maps created in the desktop version and vice versa.
Inkflow
Inkflow's ink feels like a really smooth fountain pen. Great for expressive writing or sketching. Effortlessly scale or move anything you select. This will change the way you think about ink: Jot down a list of concepts then rearrange them to fit into the bigger picture. literally move your thoughts around the page, and assemble big ideas with your fingers. This works great for brainstorming and planning. It's also perfect for prototyping layouts, sketching, and drawing.

Mindomo
Capture your thoughts directly on mind maps, turn them into presentations on the fly, and share them with others. Synchronize your maps to the cloud, from any device. The Mindomo platform creates a powerful environment where you can easily collaborate with others by sharing ideas and working together on mind maps in real time. No matter where you go, you can creatively bring your ideas to life.

Narrative
I would use this concept map to take notes on figurative language. I believe that this would help students organize different concepts.
